I recieved feedback from my media teacher (Pete Fraser). He told me that my music video reminded him of the Bjork video "bachelorette" by Michel Gondry. He stated that the start of my music video straight away reminded him of the same visual style used within the Bjork video. The style that Pete told me about being very similar was the slight blur effect around the edge of each of the seperate shots within my music video and also within the Bjork video.
The otehr similarity between the Bjork video and my own music video was that the jittery / old fasioned look in the Bjork video was mushc like the woodland shot in my music video and also after Alison drank the poison the shots became jittery and jumpy which also reminded Pete of the Bjork music video.
After I examined the Bjork music video I found that the main simularities between my video and the bjork music video are seen in the first shots of the Bjork video and also the last shot of her in the woods, these shots are very similar to my music video. I was surprised to see how alike some of teh shots actually were, considering I have never seen this music video before Pete informed me about it being alike to my own music video production for Alisons song 'Crystal Poison'.
