I have produced a magazine advert for my digipack. This advert would be shown in music magazines that are not that well known, for example local gig guides or local pub news leaflets etc. Due to Alison (artist) not wanting to become 'over popular' I believe that by publishing the advert in local leaflets / magazines is perfect for what she wants as it is not going to make her 'over popular' but will get her a few gigs / live music events for her to play at in the surrounding areas to where she / I live etc.
For the poster I tried to reflect Alison's style of music and style of persona. I chose to do the same colour scheme as I did with the actual digi-pack so that customers can relate the digi-pack with the poster when they purchase it or when they are looking out for it in shops etc. I tried to keep the advert / poster as simplistic as possible but still show hints that it is professional. After talking with Alison we both decided that this idea would work and so I went forward with the idea and made the poster for my digi-pack.
